On the occasion of the SDGs action week, which runs from the 20th-30th of September every year, GYLF ambassadors visited
COSBIE Bilingual Secondary And High School in commemoration of this action week.
They encouraged the students to take action for climate change by planting trees, saving energy and reducing plastic pollution which is a pressing need globally.
They introduce them to the peace process and how to engage in non violent communications as a tool to achieve peace in conflict situations.
Also, they taught them about the global goals and introduced them on how to effectively contribute to the achievement these goals.
These students have been better educated and enlightened on the sustainable development goals by the United Nations and how they can apply it to their every day life.
