Spina bifida is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. It falls under the broader category of neural tube defects. The neural tube is the embryonic structure that eventually develops into the baby's brain and spinal cord and the tissues that enclose them.
In a bid to help create awareness about this birth defect, the GYLF Chapter in Zambia in partnership with Malikamilimo Foundation and Neurogilical Society of Zambia organised this impactful and enlightening program to help create awareness of this birth defect and the possible solution.
They had in attendance the Kanyama Health Care workers, women and health students.
The GYLF was also introduced to the audience and the word of God was shared leading to over 120 New converts.
The GYLF Chapter in Zambia was also granted an opportunity to run a campaign with the Neurogilical Society of Zambia to fight against Spina Bifida. They are ready and excited.
Glory to God!
